1. Fabric Refresher
Have you ever come across clothes and fabrics that aren't necessarily dirty, but they don't smell clean either? Well, here's a simple tip for those occasions, so you can use them before washing them again.
Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to a clean piece of gauze (or cotton) and put both in the dryer. In a few minutes, your clothes will look and smell much fresher.
2. Shoe Deodorant
Use eucalyptus essential oil (or your favorite) to help eliminate shoe odors. Add a couple of drops of essential oil to two cotton balls and place them inside your shoes overnight. The next morning, you'll notice they smell fresher and more pleasant.
3. Clothes Spray.
When clothes are left in the closet or wardrobe for a long time, they develop that characteristic musty smell. In these cases, a spray bottle with lavender essential oil (or your favorite) is ideal for refreshing clothes and removing that unwanted musty odor.

4. Insect Repellent Balls
Make your own repellent balls to keep your closet smelling fresh and natural, and to keep away insects and moths that might be nesting there. Just add 3-4 drops of eucalyptus or lavender essential oil to one or two cotton balls and leave them inside your closet in a corner.
Eucalyptus and lavender are fantastic for keeping your closet smelling fresh and repelling any insects that might be lurking inside. Just replace them occasionally.
5. Fabric Softener
For soft, fresh-smelling fabrics, you can make your own fabric softener with essential oils. They're easy to make, simple to use, effective, and generally better than liquid fabric softeners. The best part is that they're no different from any other fabric softener. They're designed to soften and reduce static, as well as leave a pleasant scent in your clothes.
It's very simple to do, just add the following to an airtight container:
*4 cups of Epsom Salts
*40 drops of your favorite essential oil
Mix until everything is thoroughly coated with the oil. For a stronger, longer-lasting scent, simply add more essential oil to your liking.

6. Washing Machine Cleaner
Detergent residue and lint can build up inside your washing machine over time, hindering its performance and efficiency. That's why it's so important to regularly clean the inside of your washing machine.
For front-loading washing machines, be sure to pay special attention to the door seals; they tend to have many nooks and crannies where mold can grow.
Use tea tree essential oil to keep your washing machine free of mold and lint.
